The complexity of global prayers • redemption and liberation in the city is reflected in its structure. In addition to a number of financial backers, institutions and collaborators, global prayers comprises an international group. Its fellows are scientists and artists, scholarship holders and associated contributors who investigate, within their thematic area, the project’s central research questions in the form of local case studies and artistic research projects.
A team comprised of scientists, curators and coordinators provides the organizational structure and manages the project. Thematic questions, methodological approaches and formats of knowledge production and transmission are discussed and further developed at weekly jours fixes. The project’s transregional, international scope and interconnectedness is one of its core characteristics.
